Frequently Asked Questions

What are the steps of the Lucere Medical Facial work?

Following a complimentary consultation with our skin experts, Lucere’s Medical Facial involves the following steps:

  1. Cleansing, Exfoliating & Toning the skin
  2. Steaming the skin to prepare it for extraction
  3. Extraction which involves the removal of blackheads, whiteheads and other skin impurities
  4. A medical-grade mask is applied to the face to infuse it with powerful antioxidants
  5. Sunscreen is applied to protect your skin following the Medical Facial

Purging of the skin is to be expected after the treatment as we are deeply exfoliating and extracting impurities, raising them to the surface. For best results, it is effective to combine this treatment with a Luminous Peel or any of our other Chemical Peels.

When will I see results?

You will notice an instant glow to your skin immediately following your Medical Facial treatment. Because the Lucere Medical Facial deeply exfoliates the skin, you may experience purging or breaking out of the skin, as impurities come to the surface, days following your facial.  For optimal results, you can pair a Medical Facial with other treatments like Isolaz Deep Pore Acne treatment, Luminous Peel, Hydrafacial and Bela MD Microdermabrasion.
