The Lucere Bright Eyes Treatment

Everyone is after big, beautiful eyes, and we have a treatment that will give you just that! Lucere’s Bright Eyes treatment uses expertly injected neuromodulator to relax the muscle under the eye.

By relaxing the muscle, we are able to open up the eye for an enhanced, bigger look. The neuromodulator also works to minimize the appearance of fine lines under the eye, for a more rejuvenated look.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I go to get the best injectables in Edmonton?

Understanding each client’s unique facial anatomy and their desires is important to us.

Lucere is led by Board-Certified Dermatologist, Dr. Zaki Taher, who is also a Master Cosmetic Injector with years of experience and thousands of treatments to his name. He trains and teaches other doctors and nurse injectors on advanced injection techniques on a national scale. Dr. Taher is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta in the Faculty of Medicine.

Can I have my Bright Eyes treatment during my consultation appointment?

Absolutely! Because we have an on-site Board-Certified Dermatologist, we can absolutely administer your treatment if you wish to move forward.

Can I have the Bright Eyes treatment when I am pregnant?

This is not well studied, so we do not offer this treatment to pregnant women. However, at Lucere, we believe in offering the best skin treatments in Edmonton for everyone. If you’re pregnant, we have many light procedures and skincare products that are safe to use during pregnancy to maintain a radiant glow.

Is the Bright Eyes treatment only for women?

Not at all! We have many male clients because they believe that Lucere is the best place for Botox for men in Edmonton. Most men require more treatment units than women, and initially they may require more frequent treatments. However, all patients will slowly require fewer treatment sessions over time.

How long do the effects of the Bright Eyes treatment last?

The duration of effect varies. Often, for people who are new to the procedure, they may need the treatment more frequently. We treat you only with the units you need. With consistent, optimal treatment, you will only need to come in 2-3 times per year for Botox.

How many units of neuromodulator do I need?

The number of units required depends on the individual, the treatment areas being addressed and the previous treatment history of the patient.

Will my Botox injections lead to a “frozen face?”

There is such a thing as too much Botox! When administered by our expert cosmetic injectors and Board-Certified Dermatologist at Lucere, you will be able to continue making facial expressions while having a relaxed, well-rested face with no lines. Botox should never leave you with a ‘frozen’ effect, as that means too much Botox has been administered. The treatment relaxes the treated muscles, and with a skilled injector, you will still be able to display your entire range of expressions. Our philosophy at Lucere is ‘Look Good, Not Done’ and we stand by treatments that are performed by experts in the correct way, leaving you well-rested and beautiful, not looking over done.

How long does Botox take to work?

Botox, Dysport and Nuceiva begin working 24 to 48 hours after being injected, however, do not expect to see full results and that ‘Botox effect’ until 2 full weeks after treatment. When Botox starts to work, you will feel a slight tightening of your muscles, noticing a beautiful reduction in face lines and a more youthful appearance.

Can I react to a neuromodulator?

It is possible to have an adverse reaction to any medication which is why you should see someone who is trained in the management of complications of laser and cosmetic dermatologic procedures. Though the risk of adverse reactions is very low, Lucere is proud to offer safe Botox treatments in Edmonton. Our dermatologist is an expert who is often asked to intervene when patients from other clinics experience adverse side effect of skin treatments.

Does it hurt?

When administered by a professional, cosmetic injections should not be a painful experience. At most, you will feel a tiny prick or pinch-like feeling that will only last seconds.

Are there any side effects?

If administered correctly by a highly trained professional, Botox has very few side effects. You may experience a little redness, but this effect shouldn’t last too long. Slight bruising, though rare, can also occur. We refer to Botox as a “lunch time treatment,” as you can come into our clinic on your lunch break, get your Botox, and return to work with no problem.

How much does the Lucere Bright Eyes Treatment cost?

The Lucere Bright Eyes treatment ranges from $100-$250. We are very proud to offer Regional Pricing (based on areas treated) to get you the best results. At Lucere, we are proud to offer authentic, expertly injected neuromodulators like Botox and Dysport. It is important for patients to note that other service providers dilute products at times to offer a lower cost per unit. We use predictable, reliable products that are not diluted. We treat based on what your individual needs are as no two clients are the same.
