Lucere InstaLift Threads Treatment
As we age, our skin and our face go through many structural changes that often lead men and women to want to redefine their jawline and improve skin laxity. Many people believe that these results can only be achieved through invasive, surgical procedures. However, this is not the case! At Lucere, we are delighted to announce that we can provide the Lucere InstaLift treatment, a treatment that works to improve skin tightness and firmness, enhance contouring of the jawline, and provide structure—for a youthful and rejuvenated look. The Lucere InstaLift is a minimally invasive treatment without surgery, scarring, anesthesia, or downtime—all with the added benefit of an instant result.
The Lucere InstaLift treatment is performed through a small procedure that involves inserting a fine needle and laying a dissolvable suspension thread into the fatty layer of the skin. The placement of the thread repositions the fat and tissues which have naturally dropped during the aging process. When pulled, cones along the thread tighten the underlying layer, repositioning the fat pads to provide an immediate and lasting effect.
This treatment is FDA approved and results can last up to two years!

Frequently Asked Questions
Who do I see to get my Lucere InstaLift treatment?
Lucere is led by Board-Certified Dermatologist, Dr. Zaki Taher, who is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta in the Faculty of Medicine. When you book with Lucere, your InstaLift treatment will be performed by Dr. Taher, who has a wealth of experience in the Lucere InstaLift procedure and is personally dedicated to providing your best results. At Lucere, we believe that no two clients are the same and that this isn’t a cookie-cutter process. Understanding each client’s unique facial anatomy and their desires is important to us.
Will I look unnatural or fake?
No! As the threads dissolve, your body will produce collagen to naturally maintain results, leaving you with natural, desirable results! The Lucere Philosophy is to Look Good, Not Done—meaning you will look Fresh, Rested, and your Best!
Will I need to have my threads removed?
No. Part of the beauty of this treatment is that the threads used to provide the InstaLift are dissolvable, and will be naturally absorbed by your skin and tissues. There is no need to have your threads removed after treatment!
Is the procedure painful?
The Lucere InstaLift treatment is practically painless! Before the threads are placed, a local anesthetic will be injected into the area to provide a painless treatment. After treatment, there may be some slight discomfort or ‘twinge’ sensation when making over-exaggerated movements with your mouth or biting into some foods—like apples. This sensation will only last for 2 weeks.
Is the Lucere InstaLift Treatment right for me?
The Lucere InstaLift is a treatment to aid those who want to transform their jawline and lower face by improving their skin laxity and providing the ultimate non-surgical enhancement.
