What is Lucere’s FUE Hair Transplant?
Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) Hair Transplant is a surgical hair restoration procedure that uses the most advanced hair restoration technology available. Healthy hair follicles are removed from donor sites on your scalp and are carefully transplanted into balding areas of the head and/or desired areas of the body. The desired hairline is designed, and grafts are individually placed to promote natural hair growth and restoration. Unlike other surgical hair restoration methods, there is no visible scarring and results are achieved with minimal discomfort and downtime.
The Benefits of FUE Hair Transplant:

- Denser, fuller looking hair
- Completed in a single procedure
- No linear scarring from the strip method
- Minimal downtime compared to traditional surgical approaches

Frequently Asked Questions
How does Lucere's FUE Hair Transplant work?
Unlike older hair transplant methods, such as the strip method or Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT), FUE works to provide a less invasive solution to hair loss, with minimal pain and discomfort and less risk of infection. There is also less scarring and minimal downtime. Using a specialized technique, healthy hair follicles are gently removed from a donor site on your scalp, where they are turned into grafts. The healthy hair follicles are then gently implanted into the scalp, resulting in natural-looking results. Hair follicles are implanted one at a time, using the correct depth, angle and direction for incredible results.
What can I expect during the procedure?
After local anesthesia has been administered, a small area will be shaved from the back or the side of your scalp. This will be used as the healthy donor site for your hair follicles. If possible, consideration will be made to cover this spot upon completion of the procedure.
The implant site is then prepped and an anesthetic will be applied to numb the area. The grafts from the donor site will then be gently removed, using our SmartGraft device. The grafts are carefully counted, sorted, and stored at the necessary hydration levels and temperature, providing optimal hair growth results.
The Direct Hair Implantation (DHI) technique is then used to safely implant healthy hair follicles into the target area. The DHI is designed for a safe, minimally painful surgical procedure, delivering natural-looking results.
